Effortless DALI Control

The Synapsys SIPslice DALI Converter is designed to receive and transmit data via the DALI network, allowing individual or groups of luminaires to be controlled, switched on or off, and dimmed in accordance with the DALI protocol.

The SIPslice DALI Combined Power Supply and Converter provides a maximum 200mA supply for DALI communications over an RS232 or RS485 connection per 300 meters of DALI network from a lighting controller. It can accommodate up to 64 devices, including electrical ballasts, sensors, and dimmers, per 300 meters of DALI network, supporting various topologies (e.g., star, daisy-chain).

This device is built to withstand sustained short circuits and requires a 24VDC power supply.

• Fixed transfer rate of 1200 bit/s
